Review Too Much Trouble by Tom Avery

Review  Too Much Trouble by Tom Avery 9781847802347 pub June 2011

Too Much Trouble is a modern take on Oliver Twist but with enough changes to keep the reader interested. Emmanuel and Prince aged 9 and 12 yrs are sent from Africa to live with their drug dealing uncle who does not look after them, forcing them to fend for themselves. On the streets they encounter Mr Green, a modern day Fagan. They find him amazing but there is so much more to him than they realise....
With a great twist at the end I found this an easy enjoyable read, suitable for  10-12yr olds.
