The Taming of Lilah May tells the story of a teenage girl Lilah who, two years after the disappearance of her older brother, is still trying to control her anger. The book flicks between the present day and the time of his disappearance. It really shows Lilah trying to be a normal teenager while battling with her emotions.
The ending has a really unexpected revelation and the last few pages leave you thinking about the book long after it is finished.
It is an easy read suitable for 12-14year olds. I enjoyed this book a lot.
