Jess is grieving for her aunt and is also anxiously waiting for the birth of her twin brothers when she finds on an old flask in her aunt's old desk. Jess is fascinated by the flask and is sure that it contains magic.

As the story unravels Jess discovers things about her aunt she never knew before and becomes extremely worried about her friendship with Zoe.

The Flask by Nicky Singer is a moving tale which gets more and more exciting as the book continues.
