Review of Fury by Elizabeth Miles
                An eye for an eye’.
In Fury this takes on a whole new significance as both Em and Chase are led along an ever-twisting path to make them atone for their wrongs. The intoxicatingly beautiful Furies are ruthless; succeeding in making the story all the more gripping as you first follow their charm and then try to run from the horrors they bring.
Expertly devised, Fury seamlessly weaves the extra-ordinary into the ordinary until you are forced to draw the conclusion that something is not right. Only then it is too late and as a reader you are left magnetically turning pages almost faster than you can read them to find out the fate of both Chase and Em. Failing to tie up the ends neatly, Miles leaves you aching to know more of the Furies at the same time as dreading the secrets that might be revealed. After all, the question you can’t help but ask yourself at the end of this chillingly thought-provoking book is, ‘what have I done wrong? And how would I be made to pay for it?’
